This image arose spontaneously during chopping. My only intention was to make a ”florale” shape. Along the way a face, a hand, a tormented look emerged. This statue forms over the root wooden base. As is often the case with me, the penny about the meaning of the image only falls when it is finished; From an early age I feel closely connected to the fate of Mother Earth. “Gaia”'s sighs depict the struggle of mother earth. Sea of love depicts a love relationship. Despite the 2 characters being close together, the wavy lines and the contrast between the rough and polished material represent the tides within a relationship.
