The sculpture depicts a blindfolded, winged figure. The wing symbolizes the free spirit of humanity, capable of reaching great heights. However, we are hindered and kept in the dark by the dogmas of politics, religion, and economics, represented by the blindfold. The arm lies protectively across the torso, while the hand subtly points to the heart, the place of inner wisdom.

"Removing the Blindfold" is a sequel to "Kept in the Dark" (see description above) and, for me, reflects the current situation. The blindfold is removed, but due to the transition from dark to light, not everything is clearly visible, and our freedom is still being restrained, represented by the ropes around the wings.
